Thank you for connecting to my website.
Hi ,I am an experienced therapist working within this field for the last 10 years. I am a BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) registered counsellor with accreditation which means I am recognised to work at a high standard .

I have a vast amount of experience and my background includes - initially counselling in a prison. I was then fortunate to work for a wonderful organisation which specialises in counselling survivors of abuse and rape with a focus on working with survivours of domestic abuse.
I have also gained valuable experience working with students in a college setting. Alongside working in private practice, my current role is counselling university students. I work in an integrative way therefore the therapy is tailored to suit each client.
Considering therapy can feel like a hurdle in itself, as a counsellor my role is to provide you with a space and guidance to help you on your journey of self discovery. This is to enable you to examine your life and make new choices within it.
I would describe myself as naturally empathic and non-judgemental and many of my clients have said I have a very down-to-earth personality which has made them feel at ease and able to return. It’s important that you feel at ease in the therapy room, to facilitate our work together. I offer a space to reflect on the difficulties that you have or are experiencing in a safe and contained environment, with someone from outside your day-to-day life.
Together and always at your pace, we can explore your situation in a way that leads to fresh perspectives and perhaps new ways of understand. My role isn't about giving advice or telling you what you should or shouldn't do, but empowering you to make the changes you want to achieve.
I have experience of working in many areas, here's a short incomplete list of what I can help with including
Stress
Relationship problems
Anger
Grief
Abuse
Exam stress
“Angie is warm and understanding. She helped me explore different aspects of my life without hurry and we worked at my pace. I'm so grateful for our work together.”
I offer both long-term and short-term therapy to adults via telephone and online (Zoom) . I work online Monday to Friday, which allows flexibility with times. I am currently unable to offer face to face appoitments , but my main platform has been online / phone for the last 5 years . From experience It works really well and saves the travelling to and from a counselling location, plus i am able to factor this into my session fees,
